Pilar Xiqués is from Havana, Cuba. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language by the Pedagogical University of Havana.

She has previously worked as an Educational TV teacher in primary schools as well as a high school teacher in Cuba.

She has previous work experience as a secretary and academic coordinator, in addition to having worked as a teacher for a private institute in Barcelona for 7 years.
